Although everything indicated a return to China, Michael Beasley finally found a new place in the NBA. The wayward player and the Detroit Pistons have reached an agreement for a year as Shams Charania reported.

Beasley was a free agent since he was cut by the Los Angeles Lakers and the information suggested that the player could return to the Chinese League. However, the Pistons, who are still looking for reinforcements to build a solid block around Blake Griffin, have convinced him to stay one more year in the NBA. Beasley arrives after his worst year in minutes of play coinciding with his stage in the Lakers.
In addition, the player will have to fulfill at the beginning of the season his sanction of five games imposed by the NBA for skipping the anti-drug program of the League.
In the Pistons, Beasley will meet with Derrick Rose for what Detroit will have in their ranks with the numbers 1 and 2 of the 2008 Draft, although both very far from the level that made them lead the podium of that promotion and almost at sunset of their careers.
