My 4TB Seagate Backup Plus external USB HDD refused to format completely. When I formatted, half of it showed as free space but the other half of the 4TB or 3.64TB was unallocated and when I tried to make a partition there in the 2nd half of the drive where the unallocation non-free space was, then it started trying to move about 1.6GB to the first half of the 3.64TB HDD and then I canceled that procedure. I want to try to find a program that can help me recover my erased hard drive (HDD) which I thought would be less than 1TB but appears to be more than that but I cannot mount it and access them as I erased it by mistake mid December 2017 a week or so after buying it for $120 USD at Walmart near my 163 house. So, I got to do that and I am waiting for my ID in the mail still this past week.
