Despite the linking, the Senegalese has downplayed Iy with this words:

“I respect the [Spanish] league, it’s a good league with great players. But the Premier League is also a wonderful league, everyone wants to play here.
“I have this opportunity [at Liverpool] so I think it’s cool.”
