Football is a beautiful game loved by many. The beauty of football is the entertainment, the tension among fans, the fanaticism displayed by fans, the huge amount paid to players that fans always want to talk about etc.
The FIFA world cup is the height of all football competitions. Countries, players and fan take four (4) years to prepare for it. Only the best teams from all continents get to come for the competition. The teams are screened from their home continents by playing series of qualifiers leading to more teams staying back in their home country than those that get the invite for world cup.
The 2018 world cup began in June 2018. It is hosted by Russia and it has been entertaining. Currently, the competition is at its knock out stage (ROUND OF 16), and several football giants have been kicked out including Germany, Spain, Argentina and several others.
Africa.
One amazing thing about this world cup is that no African team passed through the group stage. The question remains why?
Asia.
Of the several teams that came to the world cup from Asia, only one got to the knock out stage and they were knocked out yesterday. The question is why?
Why are the teams from Africa and Asia already out of the world cup, is it that the teams from Europe and America especially (southern America) play better?
Well, the above is a question that I don’t have the answer to which is why I made a post about it so as to get answers from you.
