The final sweep of the Golden State Warriors was once predicted by Steve Kerr, head coach of the squad, at a time when his team had just one loss before being eliminated.
Ethan Strauss of Athletic noted that Kerr had successfully predicted the end and the result of the Western Conference Finals.
He would later then go on to predict how the NBA finals will roll through, and how the Warriors would fare against the Cavaliers.
Strauss has said that Kerr had successfully predicted to the coaching staff and the players of the Warriors squad that they would get the necessary two wins which will see then clinch the Conference Finals and then go on to sweep through the NBA finals.
Kerr noted that after the Game 5 in the Houston series, he felt good and at once had that premonition that they were finally going to get through and win the series as long as there were no injuries.
