I was talking with a fellow football enthusiast yesterday and I made mention that Coutinho should never have left Liverpool.
Liverpool is the place where he shone and I believe that if he'd been in Klopp's side till now, they probably would have won the Champions league.
Like Mourinho once said, every team needs a Brazilian, Coutinho was the Brazilian to watch our for at Liverpool. His mesmerizing runs and goals were praised everywhere, even from rival supporters. The player was hinted to go on to become a legend for the club like Gerrard. However, Coutinho went away. I can't say for certain if he went there for money or to play with Messi. However, what I can say is that the move need not have happened.
Now, he finds himself in a situation where he hardly gets playtime. What's even worse, the club wants him sold if any offer scales upwards of £90 million despite the player saying he wants to remain in Barcelona.
