SPS DAO Project Manager Month 14 Invoicing and Recap
Greetings my fine fellows. This month has been a bit of a slow one with the holidays, but the work continues none the less. You can check out a year end project review that I made earlier in the month here to get a broad overview of what's going on with the DAO. Let's also take a look at some of the highlights of what I've been working on from this past month:
We've got the @sps.dao account set up for multisig and there's an ongoing proposal that would put the DAO in complete control of the ongoing token distribution moving forward. Validators are coming along and we're still targeting a potential January release, although personally I may prefer that we push that to February depending on when we can get open testing started. The progress towards a more decentralized game and ecosystem continues!
This month I spent quite a bit of time exploring our options for how to fix or potentially relaunch our token contracts on ETH and BSC. We do have a contract on standby now if we need to go that route in the future, but after some adjustments by the treasurers to disable the token minting function and communication with the screeners, we've managed to remove the flags on our contract and get the audits uploaded to BSCscan. Yay for no more MAJOR WARNINGS ABOUT LOSING ALL YOUR MONEY for interacting with the token on PancakeSwap!
I've been working with royaleagle to try to get all of the token info updated on coinmarketcap and we've submitted everything they've asked for as well as created new APIs for them, but so far we haven't seen the information reflected on their site. To be fair it is the holidays so perhaps we'll see that updated in January. We're also still working to get a new fiat on/off ramp for the SPS token, which I believe may also be chugging along due to the holidays. Hopefully I'll be able to share more info about this soon!
The last big highlight for this month is that myself and the elected SPS Foundation board are now looking into other jurisdictions for establishing the foundation. The firm that we were working with in Panama started raising some red flags and after reaching out to other firms, it became clear the process was much more involved than the original firm let on. It's all good though, we didn't pay them anything and when we started this process I made sure that we had several backup plans. We'll get it done as quickly and safely as possible.
