SPS DAO Project Manager Month 21 Invoicing and Recap
Greetings my fellow Splintorians! It's the end of the month and time for another update. There's been a lot of work going on behind the scenes and we're laying the groundwork for several big projects that will be unfolding very soon.
Outside of the usual housekeeping and administrative tasks, I've been working closely with the DAO's Validator developer to integrate bridging and prep for a BASE token launch so that we can have some sort of exposure to Coinbase. With the move by Coinbase to legitimize BASE and start directly supporting it, this should be a strong move for SPS that will open new on/off ramping for U.S. customers.
On that front, a quick update that I'm still working on trying to integrate Unlimit (for free) to give another SPS purchase option with credit and debit cards. The hold up there is that they want to source liquidity from MEXC and it's too thin. We have some DAO members trying to help out with that, we'll see how it goes. Ramp is still waiting on HIVE to integrate to add native SPS support.
As may be evident from the ongoing proposal, there's been a lot of auditing and data verification going on as well. It's important that our data integrity is rock solid and with the DAO looking to deploy its own bridging I have to be sure we don't have leaks so that if we develop one we can isolate it to the new bridging. It's not fun and exciting or anything shiny to show the DAO, but it's necessary work.
I've been working with the team and the CGRF Committee to prep for an early August launch of the Crypto Gaming Recovery Fund. We plan to pilot the project by targeting two defunct games to start and then expand the scope once we're sure we have everything running smoothly.
