Greetings everyone, I made an update post last week that you should check out. It makes clear our need for better accounting when it comes to proposals. I'll also quickly recap the main things I've been focusing on this month below:
A major focus this month has been on the ongoing exchange proposal and I've been working on exploring our options there as well as gathering feedback on how to proceed. I think there's a potential play we can try to make with the proposal as written, but honestly we're not in the strongest position to be negotiating. We need to get a market maker up and running very quickly if we want to have a shot at a tier 1 listing this year.
I've been discussing our options with Flowdesk to try to negotiate a better rate and coverage options for our listings and I was preparing to make a post about that when I found out we just got delisted from HTX. This means I have to renegotiate and try to get a new quote, so I'll do my best to have that done this coming week. I know people want to see a big listing and while I can't make any guarantees, I can say that I think there's still a possibility if we play our cards right.
This month we saw the first rotations of the new tournament formats voted in last month. There are some growing pains and I've made adjustments to the next rotation coming up to hopefully address them. We'll probably have to make a few more adjustments, so I'll continue to monitor how the tournaments are going and tweak them as needed.
I was able to get us an AMA with David Fox from Double Coconut about the upcoming Soulkeep game. That went pretty well and it seems that David is interested in looking for potential collaborations and business opportunities with our DAO. There could be some good earning potential for the DAO there if Soulkeep is successful.
Lastly, I don't want to forget one of the other main focuses of the previous month: the LP rework. The team has been quick in helping to make the adjustments that we voted on, special thanks to @investygator! There's still some work to be done as far as relocating funds into pools according to the proposals, so I'll update you guys in the Discord server when that's finished.
