I am still learning about the new rulesets released for Splinterlands. The other day I found myself in a match with 12 mana and the Stampede ruleset.
"Time to try something new", I thought and picked my 3-mana summoner Malric Inferno and the single 9-mana monster Molten Ogre. (The chicken is merely cosmetic as it was free-to-use but did not play any role in this battle.)
What happened then was quite a surprise. The opponent's monsters were faster than my Ogre, so it took a couple of dents. Nothing too serious with its 14 HP, though, and then it was his time to attack.
With a single hit it killed the Brownie, then the Trample ability triggered...
...another hit took out the Ooze, which made Trample trigger again...
...only to wipe out the Chicken and...
...have another Trample kill the Nymph...
My opponent was forced to watch his entire army wiped out in a single turn, leaving behind only the Earth Elemental, which also took a Trample hit and then was annihilated the following turn.
