I understood why it was implemented, and I think it's cool to have DEC rewards to encourage people to use the tokens in the ecosystem and help bring liquidity to the marketplace, as well as prevent reward cards from being printed into oblivion.
Still, the prizes I was getting were admittedly kinda lame until this beauty showed up.
... and then later I picked up two essence orbs too, which are worth even more. Awesome!
