Let Me Introduce Myself
Let me introduce myself; I’m RosieW. You can guess what the W stands for. I’d like to optimistically say Winner but more likely it’s Wannabe! Ha! Yes, yes, it’s true. I’m always wanting to try new things, and now I wanna be in the Crypto world! The concern is that I’m about as far from the typical Crypto Winner as you can get. You see, in real life, I’m out here living next to cattle on a Kansas prairie while looking for rainbows that promise a pot of gold behind the barn.
Since I haven’t struck it rich yet, I had a revelation that perhaps I needed to go seek my pot of gold through the fiber optic rainbow. Sure enough! I’ve landed on gold, Splinterlands’ gold cards that is, and I have NO idea what I’m doing with them.
The Crypto Plunge
Yes, I’ve taken the Crypto plunge, diving headfirst into the refreshing Splinterlands waters versus the dried up riverbeds we’ve got around here. I purchased my spell book and rubbed a few old lamps collecting dust in the attic hoping a Splinterlands Genie would appear to tell me how to play this thing, but alas, no Genies. I guess I’ll have to discover my own strategy.
I thought you all might get a great chuckle hearing about some pig-tailed girl in the heart of America attempting to learn the ins and outs of Crypto currency, but really, isn’t crypto the new age of farming? And I won’t get sunburned in the process either! Yippee! However, I’m under no illusions that I won’t get burned here or there, but perhaps if I play my cards correctly, I think I can do this. And if you’ve ever lived in rural America you know a quick game of pitch or poker with a nicely worn deck of cards is top entertainment!
My Door is Always Open: Come Say Hi!
So, hopefully some of you will join me for a few laughs as I navigate through Splinterlands on my virtual tractor. I’ll try to post frequently and share what I’m learning. Perhaps there are some other new folks to the Crypto world that will find my mistakes and successes useful, and I’ve always believed in helping my neighbor!! So, I’ve moved in, and I hope you’ll join me in the Splinterlands’ neighborhood! And if you find my writings helpful or at least entertaining, then please feel free to move in next door, and I’ll bake up some banana bread for us. I hope you’ll introduce yourselves, because I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you, and I’d appreciate any advice you can offer! Just don’t forget to leave your boots on the porch before you come indoors--never know what you’ve been stepping in while searching for those rainbows!
