Everything that happens in life inevitably becomes history. Some are worthy of being counted and recorded for posterity because they contain important and important events of great historical value. Others tend to be forgotten because they simply lack value. This story is one that deserves to be told because it involves a brave warrior who did everything to free Splinterlands even risking his own life. This is my participation in the Steem monsters history and art contest.
One more battle was over one of the many battles that the Water Splinterlands warriors had lost lately.
They were disappointed in themselves and unable to beat even the weakest warriors in the entire kingdom. But there was a warrior whose defeats suffered had him more dejected and morally disappointed; This warrior was Frozen Soldier.
He was always recognized among his battle mates as a fearless, fearless, fearless warrior and always ready to go to the battlefield to defend his kingdom even at the cost of his own life. But this last battle lost was already number 13 without having won a single one.
Frozen Soldier had several days thinking about it and had decided to go to the highland mountain to seek help from the witch Alpira, very famous among the inhabitants of these mountains for her healing spells and enchantments to get love, fortune, and power.
The next morning after the last battle they had lost, Frozen Solder got up very early and set off for the mountain in search of the Alpira witch. He walked for 3 days and nights on roads infested with scorpions and flying snakes and all kinds of dangers but he raffled them all and finally on the third day he arrived at the cave where the Alpira witch lived.
-I was waiting for you Frozen Soldier- said the witch Alpia. -I knew you'd come to see me. I was told by the black owl that roams the mountain day and night and finds out everything. I know that you have come to help you win the battles of your kingdom, but I am very sorry to tell you that it is not in my hands to be able to help you. There is only someone who can help you and is the wise old Summoner Alric Stormbringer.
-Please tell me where I can find the wise old Alric Stormbringer to go see him. –Answered the brave warrior.
-Before I must warn you that it will not be easy to reach him. - answered the witch Alpira. - To achieve this you will have to go through the three steel rings, but for this, you will have to overcome all the obstacles that come your way.
Every obstacle you overcome will bring you closer to the wise old man, but if you fail to overcome them you will be trapped forever in the enchanted lands of the mountain.
-I will risk, - Frozen Soldier replied- I am determined to achieve my goal of getting help to win the battles of my kingdom regardless of whether I am to lose my life in it.
-I knew you would tell me that, - answered the witch Alpira - but I also have to warn you of a very imminent danger that you will have to overcome and that is that you have to cross the mountain Firelands. Those lands are so hot that the ice of your body and that of your armor will melt. I can not do anything for you. I can only accompany you to the entrance to the road that leads to the wise old man, which would be impossible to find if you did not count on my help.

Very early in the morning, the warrior Frozen Solder left for the highland mountain where the Summoning Sage Alric Stormbringer lives. At sunrise, he was already on the first slope of the land of dragons.
He had been almost unconscious on the side of the road after battling three dragons that were throwing flames of fire to melt his ice shield, but he finally managed to defeat them.
Before the sunset of that first day of travel, he managed to leave the land of the dragons, but not before having fought with other dragons that met him to kill him and prevent him from continuing the journey to see the wise old man, but also He managed to beat them.
At midnight he was able to pass through the first ring that was in the middle of a mighty river full of crocodiles against which he had to fight bravely. When he crossed the first ring, a sealed envelope was handed to him, which he had to deliver to the invoking old man. He entered the lands where everything is not what it seems to be. He had not eaten anything in the last four days and hunger was killing him, he felt weak.
After walking through several rough and dangerous paths, the warrior saw a few steps from him a large table served abundantly with the best delicacies and exotic fruits and ran to devour everything he could, but very soon everything he knew It led to the mouth became disgusting and smelly worms.
Exhausted and hungry, he threw himself on a huge silk mattress covered with flowers that was on the side of the road but when he fell on the mattress it became sharp nails that pierced his skin.
Finally, after many tests that he had to overcome, he managed to get out of the land of what nothing is what it seems to be and went through the second steel ring which was in the mouth of a huge fire dragon, but which in the end turned out to be He left those lands and received a sealed chest which he also had to give to the old Summoner.
The Frozen Soldier warrior entered the land of fire in the highlands. Huge flames of fire erupted from the earth and heat melted his ice shield that was his most precious defense in battle. In those lands there was no vegetation, animals or trees, everything was death and desolation due to the enormous suffocating heat. The sun was throwing flares of fire over all that land and burning and destroying everything and the clouds were huge balls of fire.
Frozen Soldier soon realized that the warning of the witch Alpira was true, could it be that I will not be able to get out of here? Could it be that I will be forever trapped in these infernal lands? - the warrior wondered -. His ice shield was melting, but suddenly something very intelligent occurred to him, he drank the water from the melted ice of his shield and thus could quench the thirst that was killing him.-If I have to lose my shield at least I will drink the water, - said the warrior to himself - That will give me the strength to continue the path and leave these lands.
Exhausted and almost breathless, after enduring enormous temperatures and flames of fire the warrior Frozen Soldier managed to leave these lands and crossed the third and final ring of steel. He was handed a hammer and a chisel which he had to deliver to the wise old Summoner.
Finally, Frozen Soldier had left those cursed lands. He was ragged, barefoot and dirty because of all the difficulties and trials he had to go through. He looked up and spotted a large snow-capped mountain beside a huge smoking volcano. He immediately knew that it was the mountain where the old wise Summoner Alric Stormbringer lived.
The wise Summoner goes out to meet the warrior
Without loss of time, he headed towards the mountain. He didn't care about tiredness, hunger and not having slept for several days. Almost at dusk, I reach the top of the mountain and the wise old man went out to meet him.
-What a joy to be visited by a brave warrior like you. - The wise old man told him. - Tell me what made you come to such a distant land Frozen Soldier.
-It is a great honor for me to be here in front of you. I came because I need your help to win the battles of my Splinter and the witch Alpira told me that you were the only person who could help me.
-I can only guide you to win the battles because the power to win them is in you, it is within you. No one else can fight a battle that belongs to you. With each battle also come the rules but the resources to fight are in each warrior. I suppose that when you crossed the three rings you received some parcels for me. - said the wise old man.

The wise old man took the three parcels and opened the sealed envelope which contained a sheet of paper where it was written: "YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES THE RESULT."
-As you just saw just say that your attitude determines the result. - said the wise old man to the warrior. - This means that your attitude to any situation that you have to face in life, be it a battle or any other difficult situation, you must face it with optimism, with courage, with a spirit of triumph, feeling confident of victory. If your attitude to any situation or adversity is defeat, it will surely be the result you will get. But if you feel successful at all times in any circumstance, life itself will take care of giving you the victory.
Then the old Summoner opened the sealed box before the Frozen Soldier warrior and it contained a shiny gold ring. The ring was so bright and bright that when he looked at it the flash of light blinded his eyes. The invoking old man took the ring in his hands and dropped it and broke into a thousand pieces. What appeared to be gold was simply a vulgar worthless crystal.
-You will have seen brave warrior, - said the wise Summoner - that this ring seemed to be of pure gold but it turned out to be of glass. That is for you to understand that not all that glitters is gold. Not everything is what it seems to be. Looks are deceiving. When you face a warrior you may see that he appears to be weak but you don't know what hidden and powerful weapons he has and will attack you with them off guard.
Do not trust appearances. Always make sure what is behind each thing, what is really the true essence of everything, and this my good warrior is an advice that I give you and that will help you for everything in life. Do not trust the first appearance. Never take a step if you don't know where you are going to set foot. Always remember that a warned warrior is worth two.
