I have been changing some of my strategies around Splinterlands as we approach the end of Rebellion Reward Cards. There is no fixed date announced yet. The expectation is 2 - 3 months from the current time based on the information we have received from the developers. At the same time we have been receiving good news from cryptosphere that should eventually bring more positivity to blockchain gaming and social media.
Focusing on Rare Draws
There is a maximum number of each item that can be purchased with Glint before the price goes up. The most cost efficient thing to do is never buying from the second Batch. Purchasing the first Batch of Common + Rare Draws cost the following Glint:
- Common Draws -> 60,000 Glint
- Rare Draws -> 75,000 Glint
- Total = 135,000 Glint
This number is much smaller than what I usually earn within a Season. The reason I have not emptied these Batches is my focus on Legendary Cards. Common + Rare Cards are often found in Reward Chests when advancing through the Leagues. I usually start out in Diamond II and advance to Champion III at the end of the Season. There are few good Rare Cards that could be useful when they are Leveled Up.
The Last 2 Epic Cards Needed
The last time I tried opening Ultimate Chests did not lead to the most favorable outcome. It was all full of MERITS that contributed to expanding my Gladiator Cards. I cannot prioritize Gladiator Cards at all. Yet this is what I ended up with at the time:
The Reward Chest opening today one the other hand was just perfect. It gave me precisely what was missing from my Epic Cards. I found the Rebellion Epic Cards to be more useful than Legendary Cards and opted to focus on those. I ended up with many doubles that was combined to Level 3 to use in Survival Mode. Again, this is not the most efficient use of Glint as I find Wild to be far more important for me.
Max Level Thanalorian Blade
It took me many months of waiting to finally get a complete Max Level Rebellion Epic Card Collection. I have one Legendary Card at Max level and Common + Rare are either at Silver or (barely) Gold League Levels. There may be eventual duplicates coming out of Reward Chests. Therefore I will focus more on Rarity Draws.
Do Not Disregard The Jackpot
Ultimate Chests have 0.1% receiving a special Jackpot prize that could contain very valuable items of variety of types. I am yet to win a Jackpot. I have had mostly average luck. Some players may find better outcomes and may even get the Jackpot from a Minor Chest (1 in 100,000 probability).
Attitudes Are Changing Towards Cryptosphere
Unfortunately this is coming at the cost of decentralization and the Cypherpunk ethos that gave birth to the entire industry. A Cypherpunk's Manifesto was published on 9th of March in 1993. The value and importance of should be felt more and more as the technology of privacy invasive kind keeps on getting developed at a rapid pace. That is why I am delighted to see news such as the following:
The arrest and psychological torture of developers of a software that gave users an attempt at a fundamental human right should have never happened. We have seen the politics (and law which is an extension of politics in many ways) go from extremely terrible to something less terrible. We are not even in neutral territory IMO. At least I am happy of the trajectory changing from Operation Chokepoint 2.0 combined with demonizing basic human rights and free speech (including code).
Since DLT are a superior technology to the traditional centralized ledgers, it is inevitable that RWA come to blockchain and other Decentralized Ledger Technologies. It is better when they are on public permissionless blockchains, paying transaction fees to decentralized nodes. It is even better if they are on feeless blockchains such as HIVE and Koinos.
Investments into Gaming Sector
Reaper Actual is an open world persistent online military FPS with upto 200 players at once. The massive island is 4X the size of Call of Duty Warzone's biggest map. Here are few more details:

The PC-based open-world multiplayer game features what Smedley said is the largest FPS map ever created—four times larger than Call of Duty: Warzone's Al Mazrah.
Set on the war-torn island of Marova, players become "Reapers" who upgrade and defend bases while navigating conflicts between five AI-controlled factions. The game combines elements from Call of Duty: DMZ, Escape from Tarkov, and Rainbow Six Siege
The game had a $30.5 million funding round. I don't think the gameplay offers something distinct and fun enough apart from Web 3 and AI connections and a massive map with 200 players. We at @splinterlands have 7+ years of moat that cannot be easily replicated by anyone. We have done a great job building the game. What we need to do now is make the following lines go up!
