SPUD4 Winners
The most asked questions about SPUD are how much Steem was powered up and how did it affect the Steem Price? The Steem price is an easy question to answer by simply going to the Steemit home page or looking on your favorite cryptocurrency exchange that has Steem coin price. Unfortunately outside forces like the current Bitcoin Bull run and massive Steem power downs aren't yet overcome by SPUD, but the future bodes well for this growing initiative.
This SPUD4 had the most entrants that qualified for the SPUD prizes. In total there were 46 Steemian accounts that qualified for a shot at the prizes. Thanks to our great SPUD sponsors, this time we had 4 prizes to offer with much bigger and better rewards. There we also many more Steemians that participated in powering up that didn't make it on the list, typically because they are already Dolphins and Whales.
I don't have details yet, but from what I have been told, it seems that at least one sponsor is returning again for SPUD5 (can't believe we are already talking about SPUD5) and has mentioned that they want to do more for the next event. All I can say is I am humbled and thank you for your support. That goes out to everyone who has supported and participated in the SPUD event.
