Hey steemians !!!! My name is Nwankwo Ikedichim popularly known as Keddy. I want to talk a little bit about my town, my adopted town as I like to call it because I moved to Port Hacourt because of college.
Port Hacourt is the capital of Rivers state. Rivers state is called the treasure base of the nation Nigeria because it is rich in crude oil. It is located in the southern part of Nigeria. For a long while, this oil rich region was a victim of the conflict between the government and different militant groups which resulted in a slowing down of the economy of the region. This conflict was however resolved by the amnesty program spearheaded by the former president Goodluck Jonathan. 
Since then , the economy has returned to what it used to be and the city has never been livelier.
Port Hacourt is a beautiful place with beautiful people. Since my stay, I’ve met some of the most amazing people. The night life here is buzzing. Most of the clubs are located in GRA 
I don’t know why it isn’t a tourist destination because it is a rich blend of different cultures and traditions. All in all my city is a beautiful place
