We are still battling with the elites.
The official-sounding Commission on Presidential Debates is a private corporation that is trying to stomp on our right to know who is running for president.
This Democratic- and Republican-run corporation is trying to keep independent candidates like Jill Stein off the debate stage in favor of corporate-funded, establishment picks.
For true democracy to exist, the presidential debates must include all candidates who are on the ballot in enough states to be able to win the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency.
That’s why we’re organizing a campaign to demand Jill be included in four-way debates: We will be protesting at the phony commission, other presidential campaigns’ headquarters, media outlets and venues where debates are held.
If the "commission" refuses to let Jill on the stage, we will demonstrate at Hofstra University, the site of the first debate. This is sure to expose the deceptive commission and its illegitimate debate.
That’s why we’re asking you’re to pledge to resist the theft of our democracy by demonstrating September 26 at Hofstra University.
Americans should know they have more options for president than a candidate who says scary things and another who does scary things.
It’s in our hands!
