I am going to share a couple of mental ingredients:
* excellent branding:
Most small websites that don't grow have shitty branding. meettheloveofmylife.com is not like pof.com or plentyoffish.com
* not caring:
i mean that in a positive way. You are fine with life even when things don't go as planned because you realize you are consciousness and not your body thoughts and emotions. Follow @mooji on youtube to understand what i mean. Because thats the only way to continue when it would become frustrating for other people.
One guy offered to buy hepays.com for 2500 and he threatened me that if i didn't sell he would create a copy of it. Since i didn't care i was able to just take it as a joke. He even insulted me a couple of times but he was a successful dealmaker. Not just anyone; his resources were real. I just smiled and said "your type of dealmaking doesn't work with me"
Mark Zuckerberg was once asked in a Townhall:
"what if something else comes along which destroys Facebook?"
He said "thats okay then we will just be doing something else"
I think this is one of the most undervalued and missed points of what it takes to be successful
* let your users do marketing for you (affiliate system etc)
The recipe for success is:
* there is no such thing as success
* there is only consciousness
* everything is performed out of the now out of the flow of the now
* when things don’t go well take a break and observer your own emotions
* let things come as they come and deal with them then
this might seem really hard for some to do or grasp but distancing yourself from your own emotions by anchoring yourself in consciousness is a tremendous useful ability and extremely hard to do for most because they think they are their thoughts. One of the benefits it brings you are immune to the threats and emotions by others.
