Howdy folks'.

Recent week's have seen discussions bloom and chat rooms flower up with conversation. This is great to the most extent. Being I love conversation, I also love talking and the feeling that someone is listening. When I say listening I do not mean like the radio is on and I can hear it, That someone actually hears the message behind the words is a great feeling. More often than not that feeling is evasive to people. There is just not enough time to hear what everyone has to say. The most clarifying of thought can be missed due to the status of a person.

Are these not some of the ambitions the chain wishes to dismiss and let everyone have a voice that can be heard?
Are we so disgruntled with our own lives that we refuse to let another rise?
Do we have to hold another down because their view/opinion may differ from ours?

These are all things we have to overcome. The prejudice of opinion we hold others to. Breaking down those divides is what the chain and the currency is about. Removing those borders and the control that is held over us with them. Providing the freedom and the ability for people as communities and individuals to grow and express themselves in an environment with a wider range of acceptance. Maybe I have misunderstood something along the way of my interpretation of what the Steem community is meant to be.

Steem Alliance.

The Steem Alliance was formed as a server in Discord to act on the Steem Chain as an independent body to represent the community needs. Through discussion a decision was made to form a committee that can hold a representation of the needs and wants of the community. Negating the need to converse with Steem Inc for delegation. We can do this as a community with representation to use the allocated funding.

Now, My own feeling here is,There will be a power grab for that allocated funds to control. I am of the understanding it is to be used to promote projects which are Steem related and will improve Steems standing in various ways.

Ways such as:

Bringing a larger user base to the platform that become regular users. Hopefully, with good content. Plus retaining them.
The ability to promote projects on the platform, to become self sufficient.
Support annual meet-ups in various locations.
Expand the use of Steem to various viable projects.
Optional methods to gain use in the physical world.
Development of new Dapps for the chain.
New investment opportunity and investors to the platform.
Possible stability.

This is my understanding of what the end goal or the committee process will be there for. I am sure it is a bit more in-depth than my simplistic look. There will be much more involved in the selection process too. Some might be ambitious.

There has been some discourse in the Discord server some conflict has already arose. This is to be expected these things will happen. How we move forward will determine the success. The conflicts will happen when people want to ensure their corner is heard and that they are not left without equal share of the pie.

What if we can all have a piece of the pie,
that we all agreed is equal.

Assume from here on out. Your project will get supported.

How to provide for all of this equally?

By agreement. It does not matter how we approach things there will always be sides. There will always be a top and a bottom. There may always appear a pyramid. At the top of this pyramid might be a fountain of water that flows down too.

I am unsure if I heard the figure 5 M Steem or 3 M Steem. Moving forward with a suggested 3 M. At the current value of Steem this provides a reward value of $45 to the post voted to.

Though this price may fluctuate. The end goal is to have it level at a higher price in comparison to other other Crypto values. We would like the price value to rise even if Bitcoin falls. I might be thinking outside of my league here, I do not see why that is not possible.

3 Million Steem.

With any investment, returns are not instant and profits take a bit longer.

The aim of this project is to reduce the costs of living on a mass scale.
Promote the use of Steem as a currency in everyday life.
Promote ventures on the Steem chain.
The project will become self reliant and independent of delegation.
Projects promoted should be community minded. (not always a profitable venture, Charity and disaster support)

The illustration below shows the first level of support Shown in the image are 5 distribution points. This is only for visual reference. Ideally 10 or 11 would be used to begin. This would allow for one account per committee member. These accounts would grow from published content with a reward from the core account. Community votes from members will also grow the account. This is were we generate the finance to begin other things which will release us from the need of delegation. While still growing the communities that use the platform.

The core account will gain some growth from the curating with having a large vote. It may also encourage others to vote prior to the vote. Each account supported will post with a 50/50 split on %. The liquid Steem used to finance the beginning physical world projects which will accept Steem as a currency. Turning FIAT into Steem and into the chain economic system. In doing so we have created a constant or recurring need for Steem. Some of those now utilising Steem will also make use of the chain in posting to earn the Steem they can spend.

Increased growth rate from Steem Power rising accompanied by the revenue from FIAT will increase the rate at which an investment tier can be reached for expansion of supportive industry.

Each account supported will share a reward also with the core/main account to enable growth. The same again the liquid Steem will go toward the finance of supportive industry and expansion of industries which will utilise the Steem currency.

Remaining votes from the supported accounts will go to the projects they are aligned with. These positions also become paid positions to those who hold them. A bad performance or a bias on voting can result in loss of the position. These positions may also be open to election by the community. those elected or holding these positions should adhere to the guidelines of the foundation in the projects supported. These agreements should not be diverted from in all aspects of projects. The support of personal projects outside of the Steem eco system would need to be agreed upon on a group agreement % of the committee combined.

Physical world industries become self reliant of Steem investment and begin to return more to the eco system than took to create an external use for the currency. Employment on the chain is something we can generate along with a positive and more secure future for the chain.

On the platform with growth, Steem Inc may decide the account can support itself. An agreed withdrawal of Delegated Steem should be agreed upon as the account grows. A 50% withdrawal of the account growth each 13 week period, would give a continuous rise in the community ability to provide for community needs. With time, The amount of community support account which are able to be supported will increase and diversify more.

There is no reason why long term we cannot support projects of all levels on the platform.

Can we agree we need to build the support structure, But even more so, build the foundations that will be able to support the things we would like to be able to do.
That if there is a price crash we still have the ability to support our chain and keep things move forward. Using an alternative input of financial support. Maybe we can even have Independent RPC and Seed Nodes. Where the chain itself employs people to run these services. The company not a user of the platform but paid to run the server.

None of these accounts will support a witness through vote or proxy. They should also remain neutral of the platform politics to avoid conflicts of personal interests above that of the community. They should at all times try to remain without bias. Keeping a position in one of these accounts will be a community decision and open to application to other’s periodically. (time to be agreed). A position of authority in an account cannot be used as a platform to promote one self or personal ambitions. Each account will have a direction of its own and the one controlling the account for any given time will focus on the account goals. Acting in a occupational role for the account focus and not private ownership.

This is my proposal on what is needed and should be in place already.

I am open to future discussion on this with those who hold interest. With everything Progress relies on the capital invested. The method I proposed here, removes having all your eggs in one basket, It also provides the opportunity to put a Steem egg in everyone else basket.
