Waking up on a cool Friday morning is bliss! We came home yesterday evening from attending aunt's wake and we were dead tired we slept right after shower at 8 pm. Still, the ten hours of uninterrupted snoozing feels insufficient probably because we only had a few hours of shut-eye the other night. We were awake mostly listening to tales, riddles, singing, jokes, and whatever else as we kept the bereaved family company — time well spent I'd say :)
Anyway, during our trips to (and from) the other province (last week and to our aunt's two days ago), we snapped a few pictures of interesting cool resin statues in a gas station (Caltex) in Bauko. I remember sharing sometime last year about the Hunter and Hulk and they got an addition!
The Hulk must be happy to have gotten a new neighbor. It's not one but two three for that matter — a dog plus the woman and her child. At first, I did not notice the baby in her back until we got closer. But yeah, the statue was beautiful. Seeing the sleeping child gave me a warm and peaceful feeling.
The figures are huge, probably more than 6 feet tall (or I could be mistaken). I thought Hulk was gigantic but the woman is even bigger. It's the newest figure that we believe may have just been installed within the year. We noticed a few tourists out in the rain taking pictures :)

Across them are the hunter and his dog. Look! Somewhere in the background was Spiderman. Let's get a little closer, shall we?
While the hunter was proud to show us his muscles, Spiderman was kind of illusive. He did not make it easy for us to take a good pic of him, lol! Well, it was raining so we were inside the car as we captured all these (mostly through the windows and some via the windshield).
Anyway, we thought Spiderman was guarding the vegetable stall and the cafe, lol!

The hubby went out a while to check the cafe as we were thinking of having a hot cup before we headed home but was told the lady who makes coffee checked out early. He offered pizza which sounded nice but without coffee or hot drinks, it wouldn't be that comforting on a dreary day, so maybe next time😊
