Hello steemit there are many new users coming on the platform every day and this post can be helpful for them. Since BTC is mooning in to all time high I believe it's a good time to buy some Steem / SDB (my personal opinoin is NOT a fail safe advice).  I want to share block trades' method and my personal experience so you know what to expect.

My Simple Guide: 

So all you need to do is be logged on on your Steemit account and click on the wallet tab

and then click on buy steem.

A new tab will open on you browser (something that looks like this):

You can pay in BTC, ETH, LTC, Dash, and others.  Once you choose what you desire to pay with, you can generate an address in which you can send the amount with which you want to purchase your Steem or SDB .

Once tranaction is sent you just have to wait a bit for the network to process the order.  It's become fairly easy and straight forward.  My BTC transation was a little bit slower than my ETH but other wise they both work great.  Very user friendly.  BlockTrades is a really good service.
