I got to know about steemit.com and Steem blockchain about a couple of weeks ago, thanks to a contact on linkedIn.
#1.Do NOT judge or compare Steem!
Steem applications are not the traditional networking platforms you have been using. Previously I had been using content publishing platforms like medium.com, quora.com and stackoverflow.com. I am a supporter for the cause of right to speech. I had been a fan Mark Zuckerberg at facebook.com, instagram.com until he started making money for my Information. I have deleted my facebook now knowing that he owes me my millions already. Lol.
#2. Be HONEST
Don't Plagiarise without mentioning the original source. Making money from an art without giving the credit to the artist. Being an artist, I know it hurts!
Post relevant comments that adds value to the overall content. Content is heart and soul of Steem. Don't pollute it like you have done everything on else on this planet. Please!!
#3. Don't DISCRIMINATE
Yes it is true that Steem rewards on the basis of Steem of a person or to be honest "account " (so many bots out there!). Chasing attention of the big whales is what most people do to get more rewards but they are underestimating the power of the minnows. Do not use bots for auto upvote on basis of Steem. You should always keep in mind that Whales are gonna doom soon one day and the minnows will rise to power! Soon means Real SOON.
And last but the most powerful one :
#4. Use your right to SPEECH as much as you can, anytime,anywhere!
Yes! This is the key to succeed on the Steem blockchain and get more reputation, which ultimately yields more rewards, that are worth it. Share as many experiences, stories, pictures, videos as you can. Be expressive, let the world know your world. Don't hesitate to be yourself! Be gentle and firm while putting your views like you are gonna do on this post 😂
