I am not against any interesting schemes in our loved blockchain. I do not consider BidBots are evil or good. But my attitude toward them is rather negative. I do not use it and I'm not going to do it. There are two reasons for this.
The first reason.
They look like a casino. BidBots do not guarantee profits. That's why the user makes a bid. No fee, no deposit, no investment, notably a bid I assume that it is possible to profit from the use of such schemes. But in the long-term game there will be a loss.
For gamblers in Steem's infrastructure there are more convenient services. For example Steem Dice from @pharesim https://pharesim.github.io/steemdice/
The second reason.
BidBots take away a significant part of the pool rewards. That is, these services have worsened the situation with rewards.
That is, accounts that do not belong to whales receive even less rewards than before. Accordingly: there is no profit, the rewards fall, the shit content is growing.
Conclusions
Such services are harmful to the system. They can not be banned because it will be contrary to the principles of decentralization. Maybe some large accounts will put flags and then BidBotts will die themselves.

БітБоти та примарний прибуток.
Я не проти усяких цікавих схем у нашому чарівному блокчейні. Я не вважаю БітБотів злом чи добром. Але моє відношення до них швидше негативне. Я не користуюся та не збираюся це робити. На це є дві причини.
Перша причина.
Вони схожі на казино. БітБоти не гарантують прибуток. Тому користувач і робить СТАВКУ. Ні плату, ні вклад, ні інвестицію, а саме ставку. Я припускаю, що отримати прибуток можливо від використання таких схем. Але у довготривалій грі буде збиток.
Для азартних людей у інфраструктури Стіма існують більш зручні сервіси. Наприклад Steem Dice від @pharesim https://pharesim.github.io/steemdice/
Друга причина.
БітБоти забирають значну частину з басейну винагород. Тобто ці сервіси ще погіршили ситуацію з винагородами.
Тобто акаунти що не належать кітам отримують ще меньше винагороди ніж раніше. Відповідно: прибутку нема, винагороди падають, гавно контент розвивається.
Висновки.
Такі сервіси шкідливі для системи. Їх не можна забороняти, тому що це буде суперечити принципам децентралізації. Можливо деякі великі акаунти будуть ставити флаги і тоді БітБоти помруть самі.
