My last post, where I was contemplating leaving Steemit, had quite a hefty discussion in the comment section. Most of the comments were fairly positive towards Steem and Steemit, giving me some much needed food for thought.
Looking back at the conclusions I made in that post, I realize that I might have been a little bit harsh regarding Ned's response. While it's certainly not a bad thing to be critical, it's also very important to realize when you're overreacting a bit. I would say that that was the case on my end, for that I apologize.
Truth of the matter is that, if I were to leave the Steem community I'd probably regret doing so. It's clear that Steem is more than Steemit Inc. and even if we were to see a massive sell-off, there would still be people keeping this platform alive. The latest post of @exyle also explained recent events in a way that made me confident about Steem again.
Doubling Down
So, with these recent price drops and with the knowledge that I'm not going anywhere, I've decided to increase my investment in Steem.

I've spent close to 300 EUR to buy +1000 Steem for powering myself up to become a dolphin. Now i'm officially part part of the Steem middle-class, a term that @meno likes to use from time to time.
Leasing 16k SP
Powering up is great, but that doesn't make my vote worth much yet. I also wanted to help blow some life into Steem, by getting some delegations that will allow me to manually curate more people.
They still need to be filled, if you're interested in leasing your SP to me, check out both Delegationhub & Minnowbooster
I will use this delegated Steem Power to manually curate content on eSteem & Steeve.
Supporting a Project with a 500SP Delegation
Now that I have a bit of extra Steem Power at my disposal, I can add another delegation for a project that's beneficial to Steem.
Truth be told, I have no idea which project I should choose, so I'm leaving this up to you.
Let me know in the comment section which project should receive the free 500SP delegation and I'll pick the one that has the highest upvote value.
