Thanks, HF21!
Before the fork, my upvotes were worth over $0.04 USD each:

But when I upvote something (like this comment)...

The payout only goes up by $0.02 USD!

An expected change with this fork was "posts that would make more than 20 STEEM under the old rules will earn more after the changes, and posts that would have made less than 20 STEEM will receive less".
I wonder if that includes comments too, or did they say 'posts' for a reason?
If it includes comments... since my full upvote was only worth 0.11 STEEM, much less than the 20 required, I can expect the comment to "receive less". How much less, the Survival Guide doesn't say. Is it as much as a 50% loss? If so, I guess that explains things, but OUCH, that's a huge loss!
Another expected change with this fork, that might explain it, was: "Reward funding is being changed from a 75/25 split to a 50/50 split between author/curator. That means you will be rewarded significantly more for curating content after the fork."
They chose to leave off the other half: 'You will be rewarded significantly less for creating content after the fork'.
If this is the reason for my vote counting for so little, author awards (content creator payouts) were reduced from 75% of the total to 50% - a 25% change from before the fork.
So why am I not seeing a 25% loss, but a 50% loss? (From nearly 5 cents per upvote pre-fork, to barely 2 cents per upvote post-fork.)
Also, if this issue is permanent, it's going to SERIOUSLY make it tougher for members to get paid out for comments. 2 cents (the cutoff) is an insurmountable obstacle for anyone that isn't buying/trading votes, or doesn't have a massive investment in STEEM. (For example, I've invested 5000 USD and posted 2 years full time, and my upvote is barely able to reach that 2 cent cutoff. Anyone with less money or time invested has no hope.)
Anyone else noticing their upvote value has been reduced by the fork?
Good luck to all! And remember, the good news is: the blockchain still works.
