What if I were to say that your lack of "STEAM POWER" could be robbing your wallet of your "STEEM POWER".
STEEM POWER Vs. STEAM POWER
If I were so bold as to say, 99 percent if us here in this platform, know what STEEM is.
Another 100% of us know what "steam" is (at least I hope you do, if not here's a link for your brain).
So then what the hell are you taking about @Fuzzigog?
Let me explain.
The "steam" I'm talking about is the kind of steam you let off after every close shave or significant task completed. The kind of steam you need to let off after a hard day's or weeks work.
I'm talking about stress and willpower and how they can affect your productivity, essentially robbing you of your money!
You see, the more stressful a task, the more likely you are to put it off for the end of the day, or not complete it at all.
We wake up every morning expecting a lovely day and therein lies the problem!
We spend our waking hours letting off steam on the phone, reading or doing whatever else it is we do, even before the day begins.
We then put ourselves on autopilot before stepping out into the matrix.
No one wants to wake up ready to go to war.
But we must! Else you're bound to run out of steam (and steem depending on what you're doing).
Several studies have shown that willpower is like your health or mana bar in a video game. The more you use it, the less you have.
And as you go through your day the more of it you spend.
What's the solution?
Wake up ready to go to war. Your leisure time comes at night or at the end of the day.
Give the day your all by going head first at your toughest task. Break it down into bite sized chunks and tick it off the list.
If you want to go to the gym. You have more "steam power" at the start of the day as opposed to the end of it.
If you need to write that steemit post, would you have the "steam" to write it after a hard day's work? Probably, yes. But most likely not!
So don't deplete your steam power during the day by wasting it on menial tasks.
Smash out your toughest tasks before the day even begins so you can get them out of your way.
And then go through the day in autopilot and let off some "steam" at the end of it.
Your physical, mental and digital wallets will thank you for it!
Stay calm and steam on!
