Hi Steemians,

maybe sometimes a sign of optimism and confidence is needed, especially while facing really frustrating and grueling bearish times like these days, weeks, and unfortunately already many months!

So yes, of course I have to agree that times are really hard, and, as everybody else, I don't know the future. However, I just don't see any reason, why the STEEM blockchain suddenly should have lost all its benefits, like fast and fee free transactions, why all the involved skillful blockchain and app developers should have lost their abilities, and why the community, where I met so many amazing and intelligent people, should have lost its great team spirit?

I know many people are powering down these days - but I won't. Instead of that I decided to do the opposite by buying and powering up 12000 STEEM ... and I am happy not to be the only one who is doing that: just to name a few (among others), I noticed that for example @balte (A new Orca is born! His name: @balte), @louis88 (Das erste Mal - Ein PowerUp der tat nicht Weh), @obvious (I*ve got the Power) or also @diana.feuerberg (Power Up !!! 8733 steem !!! (German/English)) did exactly the same.
I really like to see the 'middle class' of STEEM (minnows, dolphins and orcas) growing and taking this opportunity to increase its influence. This, together with people like @therealwolf ("Regardless of the price, as long as the Steem ship is above water, you'll find @therealwolf on it.") and many others (I have to emphasize again, how inspiring also the SteemFest was), who are so dedicated to the success of STEEM, is reason enough to believe in a better future.

manchmal ist es wichtig, ein Zeichen des Optimismus und der Zuversicht zu setzen, besonders in Zeiten frustrierender und zermürbender Baisse wie dieser Tage, Wochen und leider schon vieler Monate!

Keine Frage, natürlich stimme ich zu, dass die Zeiten wirklich verdammt hart sind, und auch ich kann die Zukunft nicht vorhersagen. Allerdings sehe ich keinen Grund dafür, zu glauben, dass die STEEM-Blockchain plötzlich aller ihrer Vorzüge, wie z. B. schneller und gebührenfreier Transaktionen, beraubt worden ist, allen beteiligten erfahrenen Blockchain- und App-Entwicklern ihre Fähigkeiten abhanden gekommen sind, und die Community, in der ich so viele erstaunliche und intelligente Menschen getroffen habe, ihren tollen Teamgeist verloren haben sollte!

Ich weiß, dass viele User derzeit 'downpowern' - aber das werde ich nicht. Stattdessen entschied ich mich dafür, das genaue Gegenteil zu tun, indem ich 12000 STEEM kaufte und 'uppowerte' ... und ich bin froh, nicht der Einzige zu sein, der das tat: So bemerkte ich, dass zum Beispiel (um nur einige zu nennen) @balte (A new Orca is born! His name: @balte), @louis88 (Das erste Mal - Ein PowerUp der tat nicht Weh), @obvious (I*ve got the Power) oder auch @diana.feuerberg (Power Up !!! 8733 steem !!! (German/English)) exakt das Gleiche taten.
Ich beobachte es mit Freude, wie die 'Mittelschicht' des STEEM (Minnows, Delfine und Orcas) wächst und diese Gelegenheit nutzt, um ihren Einfluss zu erhöhen. Dies, zusammen mit Leuten wie @therealwolf ("Regardless of the price, as long as the Steem ship is above water, you'll find @therealwolf on it.") und vielen anderen (ich muss noch einmal betonen, wie inspirierend auch das SteemFest war), die sich so sehr für den Erfolg des STEEM einsetzen, ist Grund genug, an eine bessere Zukunft zu glauben.
