It is never pleasant,
Tearing down something you have worked on.
Even if you didn’t start it, if it wasn’t your creation,
You have Time and Effort invested.
To have people come in, with good
Intentions, some real progress
Made for some, but
Then to have others come in and take
The ball and run with it…in the wrong direction.
When that happens,
It would have been better to have ended
Cleanly.
Perhaps the seeds planted will
Sprout and grow in other,
More fertile ground.
