Let's begin from me
I grew up without having a proper mentor. I don't even have a favourite movie star or a fandom like common youngster at my age. While everyone was crazed over K-pop or Anime, I was simply paving my way into programming which I am still struggling even today to master it, maybe I am just not meant to be a programmer.
But last year, I started some kind of fandom towards an amazing guy who inspired me to keep on hustling no matter what. There's some catchy phrase which I really love
" Nobody gives a fuck about your feeling bro"
I watched his journey from selling wine into a person he is today. I first know about this guy from Instagram. I was into entrepreneurship kind of thing and I like motivational quotes with lambo pictures on it. Now that I see it, it's just kind of lame. Then, I started following him on my instagram and began watching his video. Since then, I would always listen to his advice which surprisingly easy to digest. What makes him different from other people is that he's truly genuine. He's not showing flashy and sexy woman holding a wine in the pool or " let's have a look at my garage" kind of thing. Instead, He showed us that everything is achievable by working hard, hustle and patience.
So who is he?
I am talking about @garyvee @garyvaynerchuk. To me he's also a representation of a successful american dream. He moved to america while he was young and barely speak proper english. He mentioned over his several videos that it took him sometimes to reach the point in which he's now. He's promoting " hustle" everywhere and I guess it what actually made sense. A quick buck scheme won't be rewarding. Well that's just not how the world actually works. You've gotta do something in order to gain something.
I've actually wrote something about him a couple of days ago. Then I met @chiefmappster who told me that Gary is also one of his mentor. As a fan, I would have some tips for you to get his attention because actually I see that he's the kind of person who would comment and likes your opinion while also giving away books and shirt. Not to mention a call in #askgaryvee show.
First of all, Follow all of his accounts especially instagram but also twitter who knows he might re-tweet you and your post catch his attention. He's currently active on Medium, writing several articles, so you might wanna check out and give comments.
Follow his cameramen instagram account, Drock. My favourite is drock because he'd share some pictures of his photography gear and also he's recently sharing his experience working with Gary. ( this is unnecessary but okay) :D
Comment religiously in every chance or coming to his events, raise your hands ask a question and voila! Probably magic could happen.
