Unlike the current trend of "uber" blogs, with their enormous generation of revenue; the perpetual spam (which was inevitable) Steemit is still extraordinary. The platform is developing at an insane rate, there is the ever increasing volume of subscribers that will establish a more refined social commentary.
I have read several posts recently that have given me the enthusiasm to persevere and continue to maintain the success of this platform; I had become frustrated with both Facebook and Instagram. They are too "one sided", they have never considered giving anything back to their subscribers/supporters; unless you count the occasional video Facebook generates using your photos?!!
I think we have all been sterilised and consider this to be the norm, afterall the introduction of Steemit has given a new meaning to social networks; which in my opinion has to be applauded.
Although I don't think I will ever reach the "giddy heights" of a multiple $1000 post, atleast Steemit has given me the opportunity to try, and who knows what can happen there? There also appears to be a better "vibe" than the other social media platforms; I hope this doesn't become diluted with cynicism, but we will have to wait and see?
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank certain steemies for their advice, assistance, generosity, commentary and making me feel welcome.
