Do you ever wanted to play shell game (also known as thimblerig, three shells and a pea, the old army game) on STEEM? Well, now it is possible. CUPZ is offering exactly this.
The platform is really under the radar at moment, since it hasn't received any promotion until now.
What has CUPZ to offer?
At moment there are two different games on CUPZ. The first one - also called "Game 1", lol - is a PvP game. You and two other players need to choose one of three cups. One of these cups will contain a red ball, this is the winner cup(There is a 2% house edge, more on that later tho).
The second game is called "Shroedingers Ball", it's a single player game. It has it's name from the mechanic behind the game.
You have to guess wether there is a ball under the cup or not.
What happens with the 2% house edge?
As I said before, there is a 2% house edge on the platform. It works this way: When 0.3 STEEM is totally wagered (in Game 1), the winner only receives 0.0294 STEEM as a payout.
I'll quote the FAQ here:
The 2% house commission will fund referral payouts at 10% of the commission for a referred winner.
The remaining profit after taking away and referral payout will be shared out to CUPZ token holders according to their percentage of the total tokens minted.
So you need to hold CUPZ (Steem-Engine Token) to receive dividends.
How to earn CUPZ?
Getting CUPZ is pretty easy!
For every STEEM wagered you receive 500 CUPZ tokens. You can also delegate SP, 1 delegated SP is 1 CUPZ per day.
The distribution will be halved everytime the total distributed tokens reaches 5% of the total minted. So after 250 Million tokens have been distributed you will get 250 tokens per Steem wagered.
Profit shares will be paid weekly to token owners.
The profit share frequency could be more frequent as the amount to be shared grows. As we get more players enjoying the game the intrinsic value of the CUPZ tokens will go up, so the earlier you start collecting tokens the more value they will have for you
