In the last 6 months the SBD -- steem dollar -- was ahead of Steem almost all the time, and i think it will happen again.
so i see this as an opportunity to earn some extra coins but this is only doable if you do not need to use this amount of steem in near future, so you can get a better chance to wait for the right time to exchange back the SBD to Steem
and wala it is simple as that.
