Welcome to the 36th update of Oracle-D Campaign powered by Fundition - A Decentralized Crowdfunding Platform on STEEM Blockchain. In this blog we will share our experience of Decentralized 2018 organized by University of Nicosia from 14th to 16th November.
Decentralized 2018 has been the best blockchain event of 2018 among all others we have attended so far! Just look at the numbers these guys managed to hit:
Just before the event, @anarcotech shot a small video to showcase how huge the event was supposed to be honestly speaking, it exceeded our expectations:
It happened in Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens, Greece for three days i.e. 14th, 15th and 16th. First day was all about networking over drinks and food in the evening party where the event kicked off. There were registrations going on as well at the same time. We had interesting conversations over the dinner and already decided to target the potential clients who could invest in STEEM. Sadly we do not have any pictures to showcase from that night. But that's okay. What happened the next two days was far more important:
We were in the speakers' list, hence we talked about STEEM and how businesses can leverage the blockchain for various domains around the world. We gave a few examples to use the Blockchain Technology which were also presented during our @Steemfest presentation.
Response from the crowd was massive and encouraging. After our presentation was over, we got the chance to explain the concept to many investors who were present at the event. We exchange contact details with some of the premier blockchain project owners (Tykn, Bitnation, Coinjanitor etc.) and now that we are back, we will be following up with all of them to understand how we can help them to get started on STEEM.
Decentralized 2018 was certainly the best blockchain event we attended this year. We are very excited to be a part of it next year as well. @Anarcotech even shot a promo-video for them which you checkout on their twitter account.
Oracle-D
is a new STEEM blockchain business venture bringing new investment into the ecosystem.
