A lot of these have been posted over the last 24 hours. I’ve read many of them and voted on some of them.

But I just can’t take it any more. Again and again I see these obviously intelligent people making the same mistake. And it’s got nothing to do with the politics of the soft fork, ninja-mining, or even Ned’s hair.

it’s and its are not interchangeable

I stopped counting after seeing five different witnesses get it wrong. Yeah, maybe I’m a bit of a grammar nazi. In my defense, once upon a time I was employed as a proofreader. I can’t not see typos. It’s a curse.

Sure, we all make typos. But today’s deluge of so many witnesses all making the same mistake of using it’s (the contraction of it is) when they should have been using its (possessive) makes me long for absinthe with a smidge of morphine to dull the pain.

Just as Steemit is not Steem, it’s is not its.
