If you look into @daybit's volumes, top one coin is HUNT and third best coin is Steem. It looks like HUNT is making a kill there though it is down to 0.015 cents from its IEO price of 0.02. Volume for HUNT is quite significant.
@daybit seems to be very friendly with Steem based Tokens. @actifit, @dlike, @dclick and others have plan to launch IEOs there.
@daybit is relatively new exchange. It is founded by Chain partners, a South Korean startup. They have a large professional team that seems to be motivated to succeed. Moreover, @steem has relatively large followers and investors from South Korea. Therefore, South Korean exchange taking interest on Steem makes lots of sense.
However, cryptocurrency exchange business is already crowded market. There is already 255 exchanges that are listed in CoinMarketCap. Therefore, a new exchange has to make up lots of marketing and investing to catch up the shares of cryptocurrency trading.
Already Steem has few internal exchanges: Internal Steem/SBD Dex, @steem-engine, @freedomex, @swapsteem. However, Steem still lacks traders interest from major exchanges. Most of the top exchanges still has not picked Steem yet though it ranks from 30-50 such as OKEX, Bitfinex, Coinbase, DigiFinex.
Most of the exchanges inflate volumes. Some ask money from devs to list a coin. It is a bizarre and shady market. STINC and community have to navigate them aggressively to list Steem to the most of the exchanges. Steem needs to see volumes similar to EOS, LTC or even DOGE to see big success.
At least @daybit's collaboration with top Steem based tokens are very first steps.
