Ponder this: What happens when anyone on earth can run any piece of computer code they want in such a way that it can't be stopped or censored, even by governments? That day is now. But so few understand the astounding implications of this (both incredibly positive and frustratingly negative).
I've been preaching about this since 2011: Thanks to blockchain technologies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, your world is about to change in ways you can't even imagine. Very soon governments will no longer be able to game the system which, in part, means they will longer be able to "protect" you. Their ability to tax will be greatly diminished. Nationwide tax revolts will become possible for the first time (since governments cannot seize or put liens on properly-secured cryptocurrencies, and they can't jail a sufficient number of protesters). And governments will be about as effective at regulating all forms of commerce as they are presently at regulating drugs and porn. Actually, far less so.
Americans say they love freedom, but they haven't truly experienced it in generations. That's about to change. The saying that "freedom isn't free" is about to take on a whole new meaning.
Are you prepared? The world is finally waking up to the significance of blockchain tech (as evidenced by the recent massive price spikes in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Steem). Blockchain tech is not something that you want to be among the last to grasp. Make a hobby of studying it. Add the words "Bitcoin", "Ethereum", "Steem" and "blockchain" to your news feeds.
And hold on to your seats. Things are about to get incredibly interesting.
