I started using Steembottracker since last 5 days & I was pretty skeptical about the effectiveness of the system till I received some positive returns from the upvoting bots.
The upvoting bots are basically Steem accounts with some steem power who upvote your content if you send them required amount steem/SBD requested as Bids for upvotes. As my last articles talks about how it exactly works, to learn more refer to
https://steemit.com/steemit/@sobeksdiary/how-to-use-steembottracker-com
After few successful & failed attempts to get high ROi from these investments on my content, I have realised following things:
- Do not boost your posts just for the sake of getting more Steem from each post. Most of the times you are not going to get ROI more than 5-10% of your invested SBD. Only upside is you keep getting steem power from these posts. But as we all know getting steem power is function of how much effect that post is having on the community not just 1/2 upvotes by random bots.
- Upvoting bots are great when it comes to monetizing content which is already getting attention from the community as it increase the possible SBD from the posts, which attracts more curators as the curating community on the platform is still very nascent & upvotes any content which is getting traction.
- Use the upvoting bots wisely: Bid for upvoting bots which have much higher Steem Power & have least umber of bids. Do not bid until the last moment of the upvoting timeline, because sometime large bidders can definitely screwup the rewards by taking larger share of the steem power dedicated by the bot for themselves.
- Larger bids deliver larger ROI: If you are bidding right & following up on the ROI details before the bid, you can receive massive ROI on larger bids. But as mentioned before you need to use these bots wisely. TO learn more about using Upvoting bots, you can follow @joeparys or look up on his course about Steemit 2.0 on #Udemy
The course has definitely helped me in understanding Steemit & the whole upvoting system better.
Looking forward to exploring this more over time.
