Everywhere you look on the steem blockchain you can see a positive upswing in the amount of users actively using the blockchain, we just had our biggest two million transaction day recently, user signups are up, retention is good and most of all steem and sbd are holding as bitcoin, the grandaddy takes a vacation down the crypto slide.
just in the last twenty four hours I’ve seen two more followers on my three hour skillshare course, twelve new students and my biggest premium minutes day so far this month with 242 minutes watched yesterday, new people, watching the course for well over an hour each wanting to know how to use the platform — there is a demand, maybe a re-look in at what the platform is all about.
We have a long way to go however on the audience development and retention side, we have to keep up this momentum as they trickle in, new and old users alike, better messaging, better call to actions, regular and daily shows and vlogs - luckily a bunch of sites like dmania, dtube, utopian and dsound are actively feeding that requirement and it’s getting busy! :)
i’d say it would be the perfect time for that steem wallet to come out from steemit — they did say at steemfest 2 that it would be out in december but I’ve not seen anything about that yet, kinda interested on the progress of that, I think once the usual user can see their ‘balance’ like a normal digital banking app they will start to really realise the potential of this social platform powered by financial incentives and the solutions it provides.
