With the emergence of the most disruptive technology since the Internet,Blockchain can change our lives in many more ways than we can imagine.
One of the most significant uses among others will be online voting. Though we can also create an voting app to vote from home in Web2.o but the main problem remains. TRUST
In a world where phone of the most wealthiest person Jeff Bezos can be hacked who also employs a corporation to prevent his personal properties (phone,bank account,etc.) from unearthed what can a government expects (which mostly uses older technologies) from internet.(Web2.o)
But unlike Web2.o , Web3.o is hack proof , virus resistant(even coronavirus:) as it uses Blockchain technology which basically implements decentralisation.
With such a hack proof network online voting can be done at the comfort of room resulting in 100% turnout which holds a significant advantage over current process.
Another advantage will be in the countries where government practices corrupt voting practices as the technology will ensure free and fair elections.
But the question remains why the government will implement the system which can threaten its power, at this time world organizations will have to take a step forward.
