It's true I haven't been so much inspired by this whole foundation thing. It might be a great thing for Steem, we shall see.
But just because I wasn't inspired it doesn't mean I should not pay attention, especially when the final decisions will be taken.
So I motivated myself to keep a closer look and to cast a vote, when it will come to that.
By keeping a closer look I mean I will get acquainted with the proposals and will try to read more / listen to more videos about Steem Alliance and the proposals.
In the end I will decide on one of them, so I will vote.
At the time of writing this, there are 131 registered voters, so this is a case where EVERY vote counts. It's not yet clear if the vote will be stake weighted (probably yes), or not.
Two conditions need to be fulfilled for a vote to count, in my opinion:
- the voter should inform himself/herself before voting
- the winner needs to stick to what he/she promised
In reality, there are very rare cases when both conditions are met. Let's see if we can do better on Steem!
Details about existing proposals and how to register as a voter can be found here.
You need to login via dpoll.xyz interface (one of the interfaces of Steem), to register. It's a dummy poll. where you can answer 'absolutely' or 'yes', it doesn't matter. If you answer to it, you become a registered voter, and you will be able to vote for the structure proposals for Steem Alliance.
