Β Β Β Β Β When I was an English teacher in Cambodia, I used to do a weekly fill-in-the-blank comic-strip contest for my ESL students. It was an instant hit with the students and provided me with endless laughs. I gave each student the same comic strip with the text removed.
Β Β Β Β Β Below is a "Calvin and Hobbes" by Bill Watterson blank example comic-strip from an actual contest that my Cambodian students participated in.

Β Β Β Β Β I had my students fill out the comic strips using pencils, and whoever the winners were from each class would have their comic strips typed and placed on the school bulletin board for all to see until being replaced by the following week's winners.
Β Β Β Β Β Below is a Calvin and Hobbes" winner from one of my 4 English classes I had at the time.
