I’ve had a perma-smile on my face for the last week thanks to all of you who participated in my first contest. An extra special thank you goes to the people who resteemed and helped get the word out, and to @johndoer123 for his donation of 0.5 SBD to add to the prize pool! In particular, I want to thank @davemccoy for adding extra incentive to bring in more newbies, and @abh12345, @limabeing, @amariespeaks, @c0ff33a, and @mariannewest for helping to pull in contestants from their respective communities. That list isn’t exhaustive—those are just a few who come to mind! There have been so many kind words from so many kind people, I’ve learned about many communities and initiatives, and I’ve made many new friends. (Selfish motivation: accomplished!)

20.060 STEEM (@curie reward) + 0.392 STEEM (@johndoer123’s donation) + 2.498 STEEM (from upvotes on the contest announcement) + 0.05 STEEM (from me to round it off) = which means I have 23 #steembasicincome shares to give away to 35 very deserving winners.
Unless…
You do a crazy thing and double everyone up so that both halves of the enrollment go to participants instead of one to the enrollee. So that’s what I’m going to do!
