The Chess Association of Nueva Esparta State (Asoajedrene) and the Corporate University of Sigo (UCS), report the realization of the 8th IRT Quick and Blitz Chess "Corporate University of Sigo" on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 January 2020 in Classroom No. 12 of the Corporate University of Sigo, located in Porlamar, Mariño Municipality, Margarita Island, Nueva Esparta State. Endorsed by the Venezuelan Chess Federation (F.V.A.), valid for the FIDE International Rapid and Lightning Chess Rating. This year will be for doubles, teams of two (2) players, being the board 1 the player with the highest Elo.
Inscription: For both tournaments the Five Thousand Bolivars Sovereign (BsS. 5.000). A single event of Three Thousand Sovereign Bolivars (BsS. 3.000).
Main Referee: A.I. Ulises Hernández B. and Assistant Referee: A.R. Evelyn Muller C.
✅ Fast Tournament: International tournament in the Fast Chess mode for all the duplas that wish to participate. Maximum quota of eighty ( 80 ) participants.
In Swiss System to seven (7) rounds with rhythm of game for each player of 15 minutes + 10 seconds of increase for each move made. Start: Friday 19 at 2:00 p.m.
Ties: a) Match Points, b) Points, c) Individual Result and d) Draw by Board.
✅ Blitz Tournament: International tournament in the Lightning Chess mode for all the doubles that wish to participate.
In Swiss System to nine (9) rounds with rhythm of play for each player of 3 minutes + 2 seconds of increase for each move made. Start: Saturday 20th at 2:00 p.m.
Ties: a) Match Points, b) Points, c) Individual Result and d) Draw by Board.
Prize: From the combination of the two (2) Tournaments according to the formula 1 score. 1st Place: Trophies, 2nd and 3rd Place: Medals. Additionally by Points Medals to the Best U-14, 12, 10 and 8 in Absolute in each board, Best Senior and Best Female.
