John 4:23 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father also seeks to worship them."
Hello dear community, in this opportunity I will share a little part of what God has ministered to me through this beautiful passage of the Scriptures.
We see that during the conversation that the Lord held with the Samaritan woman, he deals very deeply with the theme of adoration. (Vr.22
Through this verse Jesus leaves us a valuable teaching that we all need in order to give God true adoration. This beautiful passage warns us of the great possibility that we could be worshiping the Father with a very wrong reality, very different from what the Lord demands of us.
Worship is so important, we were created for that, but because of sin the relationship of man with God is broken, and it is where He sends his son Jesus to redeem us and we can be new worshipers.
When I came to the ways of the Lord, there was something that filled me deeply when I was visiting that small congregation and was listening to the beautiful melodies that sounded, and the songs that were sung to take us to that level of worship where I did not know at that moment What was happening to me was that my spirit was united to Him to never go back. From that experience already several years ago.
But that relationship must grow day by day, since a true worshiper must become someone who has a personal relationship with God, whom he loves intensely.
If we can not show a genuine love to God through our adoration, everything we do will not be a cold religious rite, devoid of meaning and not pleasing to God.
When we love God we want to please Him in everything we do. A fire is kindled within you that can not be quenched, you join in prophetic adoration, which is when heaven manifests on earth through a heart that worships you in spirit and truth. And the word clearly speaks about that love we must show to the one who gave it all for love of you and me. (Matthew 22:37) "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
Before closing this short post, I want to share with you a prophetic flag that I painted for one of my daughters. I waited for the day and the direction of God to undertake this task with much reverence and love for Him, they went from 4 to 5 hours, full of deep adoration and love for my beloved Lord, since the image speaks about the lion of the tribe of Judah (apocalypse 5: 5) (Isaiah 31: 4)
