The problem of evil refers to the challenge of reconciling belief in an omniscient, omnipotent, and omnibenevolent God, with the existence of evil and suffering in the world. This is a theological argument against belief in the Christian God of the old and new testament.

One writer posed the problem of God this way:

“Epicurus' trilemma”

If God is unable to prevent evil, then he is not all-powerful.
If God is not willing to prevent evil, then he is not all-good.
If God is both willing and able to prevent evil, then why does evil exist?

In today’s video I will respond to this “problem of evil” argument, and hopefully show why it lacks adequate foundation for logical coherence… in other words, it just doesn’t stand up to criticism.
