Steemchurch.net's Shoots Up In Alexa Ranking | Our Site Can Do Much Better | Suggestions To SC & Brother Marcelo
For as many of you that do not know what alexa site ranking is about, I will quickly tell you what its about. There are about 490million blogs/websites in the world as at the last time I checked the internet and if there is nothing to go by, you will agree with me that the number will keep increasing.
However, it is important to understand that there are several tools that helps us keep track of our website performance and tells us about how engaged users are to our website. One of those those tools is alexa ranking. For example, if you head to this link below, you will see the website traffic for my site https://o3schools.com/ which is clearly spelt that I rank about 133,552 in the world and 525 in my country Nigeria.

Likewise, you could remove the o3schools.com at the end and add Steemchurch.net and you will see the ranking. Its that simple, trust me. If you carefully do that, you will see that https://steemchurch.net ranks 18,996, 948 out of the 490 million websites/blogs in the world.
In case you don't understand what that means, it simply shows that the site is doing pretty well for a new website but we can always improve on that rankings. Steemit.com is a little above 2 years and it ranks 1730 and its because of the engagement and interactions as well as page views it gets.
My Suggestions To SC & Brother Marcelo
By what I understand now, the site hasnt began to post articles which is what mainly people usually go to read in a website. Therefore, my suggestion is simple. We have all the brilliant minds on steemchurch already.
This means we can just do a weekly compilation of the best 3 steemchurch posts which has been resteemed by our dear apostles and blessed by our beloved #Sniffnscurry and post it on our website. If we continue like this at least weekly, we will see a tremendous improvement.
However, please don't get it wrong that there is anything wrong with doing what we are doing. Its our website and we can put our posts there and of course recently for wordpress users, a plugin was created called #steempress that enables you post to your blog on steemit through your wordpress website. Therefore what we are doing is absolutely on point and it will help us keep winning in this crusade for freedom.
I hope my suggestions will be taken into consideration and if a volunteer is needed to steer this project, I am always available for work.
