Your foundation determines your stability to a very large extent. Do everything possible to get it right from the beginning.
Psalm 11:3
If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Forget the negative past
Your past is gone, forget it. Don't lie yourself to be enslaved by your past. Let it go because, a new day is here. If you must achieve your dream, you got to put your past behind you.
You cannot change the past but, you can still achieve a lot. So focus on your future.
Your best is yet to come.
See a great future for yourself
Seeing is possession. See a better future for yourself, see good things happening to you, see that job that car that marriage. You will get what you see. Until you see it, you cannot possess it.
In Genesis 13:14 God told Abram after the separation of Lot:
And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

The determinant factor of how much Abram was to possess, was how far he could see. Whatever you can see with your eyes of faith, you can possess.
See it and you will have it sooner than you expect.
