The fourteenth chapter of Paul's first letter to the Church in Corinth was a detailed and deep teaching in church organization. Our God is never an author of confusion, as such, those who profess to carry His image should be conscious of this.
From the beginning when God started creation, He made things in pace and levels and saw that each was Good. After every other thing had been set, God finally created man and then saw that everything He had created was Very Good. (Genesis 1: 31). Surely, when things are done orderly, they will always look good and decent, and will always earn commendation.
In Genesis 2: 15, God went further to set man in the prepared Garden and gave him one assignment and that to dress and keep it. To dress and keep the garden was an instruction to motivate a orderly spirit that keeps things where they belong so as to ensure sustainability.
Today, the world is full of chaos, the ecosystems and environment are destroyed because man has failed t lead a decent and orderly life of allowing things be where they need to be. In fact, the only way out is for man to learn to put things in order as God had demanded in the beginning.
Being aware of the above background, it is therefore pertinent that we in @Steemchurch also lead an organized life and service to God even on the blockchain.
Yesterday, the mother of crowds, @Darlenys01 made a call for MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATIONAL IN THE CHURCH to help us impact the world.
God is a God of order in all things, and before we see things on earth are created in the spiritual world, membership is a commitment between brothers, I will ask our goldsmith @edxserverus that creates our membership card for @steemchurch that will be accompanied by hearts from my castle.jc, to the first 200 members who acquire them, likewise I entrust my beautiful brother @uyobong to administer and deliver this card to every parishioner committed.
It therefore on the light of that this post comes to further prepare our hearts and shed more lights on the need for proper organization of @Steemchurch and related parishes.
Certainly, organization is very necessary for proper management of human resources. This tool of organization has been very vital to the coordination of Israel in the Old Testament and the build of the church in the New Testament.
Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said. So Moses chose capable men from all Israel and made them heads over the people as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens. And they judged the people at all times; they would bring the difficult cases to Moses, but any minor issue they would judge themselves - (Exodus 18; 24-26, Berean Study Bible)
The three verses of the scripture above shows how Moses heed to the instruction of his father-in law in appointing men of value, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens.
We see a picture of how the people were well organized in their tens, fifties, hundreds, and thousands to make the leadership responsibility of their leaders eased. This as well aided the accountability of the leaders. @Sirknight knew this, the reason he appointed for us, Apostles and leaders at different levels of the Steemchurch.
Indeed, theologians call this "The Jethro Principle:". This is a widely adopted Biblical Model for leadership and church organization. It holds great value for those who are called to lead God's people today.
