Server upgrades

Within the next two weeks, we will be upgrading the Steemify production servers to prepare for the upcoming releases of Steemify for Android (v1.0) and the new version of Steemify for iOS (v1.6).

Service outage

For some of these upgrades, we will need to reindex the database and/or temporarily stop some of the nodes. Unfortunately this will cause some interruptions to the service, but ofcourse we will try to keep the downtime to a minimum.

Improvements

The main changes are performance and stability related, although there are also some new features implemented. One of the most notable will be the implementation of mutelists. This allows you to mute notifications of users that are on your Steem mutelist.
The next version of our iOS app will already make use of this, with the feature coming to Android in a later version.
