Faucet Code is Coming Along!
While it took a fair bit of experimentation and trial / error keyboard button mashing to get the upcoming Steem-Roller.com v0.7.3 faucet function to actually properly calculate user claims and successfully payout free STEEM it seems that the hardest part of the faucet coding is done. What's left to do in regards to the faucet is finish the 5 minute timer enabled between faucet claims and then rigourous sanity checks and bug testing to ensure it's not going to get explioted or rekt. The faucet functionality should be done before the start of next week, although the v0.7.3 update is still likely a ways out, due to a bunch of mobile optimizations needed to be done on the new GUI and other planned upgrades such as private messaging and real time charting of gamblers profits.
Note: The faucet isn't implemented or functional currently on the public beta v0.7.1 / v0.7.2 versions of the sites. (estimate is a month, if all goes well in dev & tests)
Real Time Profit Charting Added to v0.7.3 Release Target

Further building out the new GUI a real time chart is to be added to the site in order for gamblers to easily visualize their wins and losses as they happen. As it sits currently gamblers for sure will have a real time profit chart and if the code & database gods smile upon future development towards implementing this feature investors too may end up with a profit chart for their investment in the sites bankroll. Currently unsure how feasible investor charts are but I'm certain that gambler charts will be not entirely daunting to implement. Perhaps if all goes well then folks will be posting their awesome profit charts in the near future and gloating about how much STEEM they have won.
Goal is to have the v0.7.3 release ready to launch within the next month. With the new GUI and features is should help attract a larger community of gamblers and investors to the site as they seek to earn fortunes with their luck on the dice or siding with the house edge. With up to x990000.0000 win multiplier and an insane up to 99x investment leverage the site is unlike anything else in the STEEM ecosystem currently. Goal is to build the site up to the premiere provably fair game of chance and investment vehicle offered on the network.
